Sometimes, it is good to view the concept of a covenant in a new way. While there are the traditional definitions of this term, additionally, I also think it helps to view a covenant as a conversation with the Divine Source.
Many times, a covenant will come into being within the context of a specific society, at a specific place in time. Because of this, the conversation reflects that culture and that era.
But if you remove yourself from that society by hundreds or thousands of years, and you are geographically distant from that society, then that conversation, for you, may not be easy for you. You may feel disconnected from it. It may feel like you are just trying to learn the words so to even take part in that conversation.
But God does not limit His covenants to the ancient past, He also provides them in the here and now.
You do not have to learn an ancient language or adopt the mannerisms of an ancient culture to have a conversation with God. You can enter a covenant in the modern world and be as connected to your Creator as much as any other person throughout time, has.
Throughout time, Mihr Yazd (The Living Spirit and Son of God, who manifests in this part of the Creation as Mithra) has sent Messengers (Manifestations of Himself), onto this world to remind souls of the existence of God and their dependence upon Him and their need to return to His Presence beyond the physical realm.
In this final age of this world and of humanity, as the World Teacher Mir Fratama, the Mithra offered mankind one final covenant before the conclusion of all things. It is what we call “The New Mithraic Covenant”.
It is as follows:
“These are the words of Mithra:
“I shall come in the night, as quickly as the wind blows, when the sons of men slumber.
I will bring unto them a tablet and when those who take hold of it, if they truly come into the covenant of Asha, they shall have life, that is, if they remain faithful unto that word.
And surely, they shall no longer scorch under the heat of the sun, for their labor will be for God, and not for man nor for the evil one.
Liberation of the soul is not dependent on membership in any religious group or institute.
Liberation is achieved through the worship of the One God, acceptance of His DivineMessenger, and practice of the Three Lamps* of Light.
*(Scripture, Tradition, and Revelation)
Worship the one God who is outside of time and creation; abandon idolatry. I will not tolerate those who worship false gods or hold to false concepts.
Accept the Divine Messenger sent by God and the pure teaching that is revealed in Asha.
Those who reject the Divine Messenger and the teaching of Asha will be cast out into the darkness.
Cultivate these characteristics: Royalty, wisdom, victory, contentment, purity, truth, faith, patience, sincerity, kindness, justice, and light. The cultivation of these characteristics will draw you closer to Zurvan, the one God of Asha, in the Religion of Light.
Practice food-offerings at least once each month, for it is a means by which you can receive intercession for your shortcomings.
Observe the seventh day Sabbath given by Zurvan, from sundown Friday to sundownSaturday, by refraining from unnecessary labors and non-essential activities; use this day of rest to focus on spiritual matters and the Divine Teachings.
Observe the Ten Blessed Maxims given in the Religion of Light.
Abandon all forms of idolatry, harmful desires, extreme materialism and accept Asha as it is, without attachment to preconceived ideas and assumptions.
Call upon My Name and the Name of My Messenger on a regular basis.
The truth of Asha is not too difficult to accept upon yourself. Regardless of your race, nationality, gender, social status, or sexual orientation, you are accepted as one of the children of Light; in order to maintain this relationship, continue observing these simple truths.
Earthly or worldly organizations will not bring liberation to your soul, but you will find deliverance from the darkness by practicing the tenets of Asha in the Religion of Light.
This is my covenant with you.
When you genuinely accept and honestly live by these truths, I will accept you and I will grant you a place in the Blessed Land of Light.
A spiritual and eternal oasis awaits those who take up the teaching of Asha.”
This covenant, while it is the last new covenant Mithra will offer mankind, is not the only covenant left in the world, there are others. But not every religion has a covenant through Mithra and not every religion brings souls out of the dying creation and even some that, at one time, offered this, have become so corrupted that the covenant within has been broken and can no longer bring souls into the Presence of God. It is for this reason, a New Covenant through Mithra, that connects souls in this final age to the One God outside of Creation, is needed.
There will come a time in the not too distant future where Mihr Yazd will send a final Manifestation of Himself into this world, He will be called “Mihr Roskha” (which means “Living Spirit”).
He will not offer the world a new covenant with God. He will unite all existing covenants and all covenanting faiths left in the world into One Great Tribe.
He will bring this Great Tribe with Him up into Bahisht, and the world and all that is left in it will descend into the darkness for eternity, as the realm of physical matters ceases to exist.
Given the fact that so few people know any of these things and how vital such things are to the perpetuity of the soul, we are strongly motivated to share the New Mithraic Covenant and the faith of Asha with the world.
The world needs a new covenant with the Divine Source. The world needs a new conversation with God.
